Cost planning, tender analysis, valuations and final accounts. Send the project detail and we match it to a surveyor who works on jobs of that size.
What this site is, what it costs you and what happens after you press send.
Sending an enquiry is free and puts you under no obligation. We are paid by the trade side, never by you, and no price on this site is ours to set.
Whoever contacts you has a public record: a Google Business Profile, Checkatrade, Trustpilot or the Federation of Master Builders. Look them up before you commit.
There is no star rating anywhere on this site, because we have none yet. When there are real reviews, they will appear with the source attached.

A build goes wrong on paper long before it goes wrong on site. A quantity surveyor is the person who reads the paper: what the work should cost, what the tender returns actually mean, what a contractor is entitled to be paid this month, and what the final account should settle at.
Tell us the stage you are at and the size of the project. We pass the detail to a cost consultant working on that kind of job in your part of London, and they come back to you directly. Larger schemes usually sit alongside groundwork and builder packages, and the surveying runs across all of them.

The early numbers decide everything that follows. Cost planning sets a budget against the drawings you have, tests it against what the work is really going on for, and tells you where the money is concentrated before anyone is committed.

Three prices that look similar are rarely comparable. Tender analysis normalises them, finds what each contractor has left out, and shows you which number is the one you will actually pay.

Once the work starts, the commercial job is monthly: what has been built, what it is worth, what a variation should cost, and what the account settles at when the scaffolding comes down.

Drawings, a scope, a budget or just a description. Whatever stage you are at, the more detail you give the closer the first response will be.

Residential, commercial, new build or refurbishment are different commercial jobs. We pass the enquiry to someone who works on that type at that value.

The surveyor contacts you directly to agree the scope of the appointment and what the fee covers. You deal with them from that point on.
Send the drawings or a short description of the scheme and we will put the right cost consultant in touch.

They own the money side. Before the build that means estimating, cost planning and putting the tender together; during it, valuing the work each month and pricing changes; at the end, agreeing the final account. They do not design the building and they do not build it.
As early as you have something to price, even a sketch. The decisions that move a budget most are made at concept stage, and they are far cheaper to change on paper than on site.
For most private residential work, no. Chartered status is usually asked for where a lender, an insurer or a contract names it, and on larger commercial schemes. Tell us what the project is and whether anyone has specified it.
Fees are set against the scope and the value of the project, so there is no single figure, and we do not publish one. The surveyor will quote you directly once they know what the appointment covers.
Both. Homeowners extending or converting, self-builders, landlords, developers and contractors all use the same service. The scope differs, not the discipline.
