Terms And Conditions

What These Terms Cover

These terms apply to your use of rcrobuilding.uk and to any enquiry you send through it. By using the site or sending an enquiry you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not send an enquiry.

The site is operated by RCRO Building. Our contact address for anything arising from these terms is info@rcrobuilding.uk.

What This Service Is

RCRO Building is a lead generation service. We take the details of the work you need doing and put you in contact with a trade who carries out that kind of work in your area.

We are not a builder, a surveyor, a fitter or a contractor. We do not carry out building work, we do not supervise it, we do not price it and we do not employ or control the trades we pass enquiries to. The about us page sets this out in more detail.

Sending an enquiry costs you nothing and places you under no obligation. It does not create a contract between you and us for building work, because we do not do building work.

Your Contract Is With The Trade

Any agreement to carry out work is made directly between you and the trade. The price, the scope, the programme, the payment terms and any guarantee are theirs to offer and yours to accept. We are not a party to that agreement and we do not act as anyone's agent in making it.

We do not guarantee the quality, timeliness, pricing or conduct of any trade we introduce you to, and we do not warrant that any trade holds a particular qualification, registration or insurance. Satisfying yourself on those points before you commit is your decision and your responsibility: ask for the paperwork, take up references and check their public record.

We cannot guarantee that a suitable trade will be available for every enquiry, in every area, at every time.

Using The Site

Use the site lawfully. Do not submit false details, do not submit somebody else's details without their permission, do not use the form to send advertising, and do not attempt to interfere with the site or the systems behind it.

We may decline or stop handling any enquiry, including one that appears to be automated, fraudulent, abusive or outside the work and the areas this site covers. The pages under building services describe the work we take enquiries for.

Content On This Site

The text, layout, imagery and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without consent.

Information on the site about building work, costs, permissions and regulations is general information about how this kind of work usually goes. It is not professional advice about your property, and it is not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified surveyor, engineer, architect or building control officer who has seen the actual job. Statements about planning and building regulations describe the general position in England; the rules change and local authorities apply them differently, so verify anything you intend to rely on.

Our Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from work carried out, or not carried out, by any trade you are introduced to, for any dispute between you and a trade, or for loss arising from your reliance on general information published on this site.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights, which remain in full.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these terms, and the version on this page at the time you send an enquiry is the one that applies to it.
